Dora's Casita
Dora Rivera has worked at the first tee box – out of a halfway house that was formerly a chicken coop when the property was a working ranch – for the last 18 years and now serves second-generation Members. She is an icon at the Club and the halfway house was officially dubbed “Dora’s Casita” in 2017 after being known as “Dora’s” by Members and Employees for many years.
Dora has the true gift of hospitality, treating all Members like family and going above and beyond to serve them. She asks for the new Member report to begin learning their names and has been known to make food that’s not on the menu to cater to special dietary needs. Her dedicated service makes Lost Creek Country Club a true home away from home for our Members.
She is famous for her breakfast tacos and Dora’s Dog hot dog, but Members also love her Bloody Mary and Jalapeno Margarita.
The Ice House
Kick back and make yourself at home in The Ice House with 5 TVs where you can catch all the best sporting events and surrounding views of the golf course and beautiful Hill Country. The menu is small but filled with delicious options that can be paired with a variety of beverages from the full bar. Even on the hottest of summer days, there is always a cross breeze to keep you comfortable in this covered outdoor dining facility, and our recreational swimming pool is nearby so you can drop in after lounging poolside.
Enjoy the vibrant social scene including live music here every Friday and Saturday night, Lost Creek traditions like Trivia Night, The Lost Vine – Lost Creek’s wine club and a variety of dancing lessons.
Built around 2008, our Austin icehouse was referred to as “The Pavilion” until 2019, when it officially became a gathering place for Members. The recent necessity of outdoor dining and social distancing transformed the space into the popular hangout it is today.
