About Caroline
Meet your Member Experience Coordinator, Caroline! Caroline has been working at Dominion Valley since July 2021. You may have seen her taking pictures at events or working on marketing for the Club. Caroline grew up down the street in Bristow, and graduated college from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a degree in public relations and journalism. If you see Caroline around the Club, make sure to say hi and pose for a picture!
Rodger Melchiori

About Rodger
Rodger comes to Dominion Valley Country Club after a career in sales and sales management primarily in the Technology and Consulting space. Rodger specialized in opening office territories, introducing new product lines and growing and managing sales forces while working with both large government agencies and national account clients. A lifelong resident of Northern VA Rodger grew up locally in Vienna VA attending Madison HS and then received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University and M.B.A. from Marymount University.
Rodger and his wife Lisa reside in Chantilly and have three grown children and two grandchildren residing in Northern VA and Richmond VA. An avid golfer Rodger decided to join the team based on his excellent experience as an Invited club member. He looks forward to combining his love of golf with the joy of connecting others to all the benefits Invited Clubs and Dominion Valley Country Club have to offer.

About Whitney
Whitney Gerritzen is your Private Event Director and comes to us with 17 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. She graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Park & Tourism, Communications and Family Consumer Science. Whitney, her husband, and young son reside in Bristow and spend their free time with close family and friends, taking their dog Sedona for long walks and doing projects around the house. With a true passion for creating unique and memorable events, Whitney looks forward to working with you to plan your event!
Dermot Mulvihill

About Dermot
Dermot Mulvihill grew up in Kildare, Ireland and moved to the United States in 2004 to continue his career in the Hospitality Industry. He has worked at various Restaurant concepts between Ireland and the US to include Fine Dining, Casual Dining, Fast Casual and Private Clubs. Dermot’s experience in the Food and Beverage industry spans 25 years total. In 2012, Dermot joined Toll Brothers at Dominion Valley Country Club as the Food and Beverage Manager and has most recently been working as a District Manager for Five Guys. Dermot lives in Haymarket with his wife and three children and in his time off, enjoys visiting breweries, watching sports and spending time with the family.
Hector Lopez

About Hector
Hector is originally from El Salvador, however he has lived in Northern Virginia for the last 22 years. He attended the Panamerican Academy of Culinary Arts, earning a degree in Food Service and Hospitality in early 1996. Chef Lopez has spent the past 20 years in the hospitality industry in private country clubs. He most recently served as Executive Chef for Hidden Creek Country Club for several years, and the Country Club at Woodmore. Chef Lopez brings over 22 years of culinary knowledge and club management experience. He is looking forward to using all his culinary experience to provide our Members with a memorable dining experience.

About Hannah
Hannah joins us from Asheville, North Carolina as the new Member Experience Director. She has enjoyed serving in various hospitality and service industries for the last nine years. Most recently, she spent the previous four years overseeing Member relations and activities for Guests and Members of The Omni Grove Park Inn. She moved to Chantilly in July with her partner, Megan, along with Snoop, their five-month-old puppy and Moo, their cat. They like to spend their days off hiking, rock climbing, and finding new places to eat and are excited to explore their new home. With a zeal for creating unique experiences, Hannah looks forward to getting to know and sharing her enthusiasm with the Members of DVCC!

About Ryan
Ryan comes to us from Chantilly National Golf and Country Club, where he spent the last four years as their Head Golf Professional. Ryan was born and raised in Brockway, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Penn State University, where he majored in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Management - Professional Golf Management Program. During his time at Penn State, Ryan had the opportunity to intern and work at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts and the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey. Before joining Invited as General Manager at Greenbrier Country Club in Chesapeake, Virginia, he spent ten years at Swan Point Yacht & Country Club, serving as Head Professional for seven years before being promoted to General Manager. Ryan is married to his wife, Nicole and has two children.
Mike Maines

About Mike
Mike comes to us from Chantilly National, where he started his professional career in 1994 as a member of the golf course maintenance team. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1999 with a degree in Horticulture and Agronomy, he worked as an Assistant Superintendent at local Northern Virginia Clubs. In 2005, he returned to Chantilly as the Assistant Superintendent and promoted to Course Superintendent in 2010.

Ryan spent his childhood in Sewell, New Jersey. In 2010, he graduated from the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach with an Associate's Degree in Business and Golf Complex Management. After moving to the Northern Virginia area in 2011, he worked at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club as a caddie for 6 years.

About Tom
Tom was raised in Groveland, MA and graduated from The Golf Academy of America in Arizona in 2004. There he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Golf Operations and Management. After College, he moved to Virginia and spent three years as a Golf Professional at The Golf Club at Lansdowne. Tom left Lansdowne in 2008 to work at Belmont Country Club as the Assistant Golf Professional for the last seven years prior to coming to work this year at Regency at Dominion Valley.

Previously, Cindy was an office manager for skilled nursing facilities and medical office for Oncology practice in Western NY and the Virginia area. Her passion is customer service relations and she looks forward to her new career path at Dominion Valley Country Club.

About Melanie
Melanie grew up in Somerset, New Jersey as one of 6 children, learning early on the value of patience! She moved to Northern VA in 1987, residing in Ashburn and is a proud mom to 3 adult children all successful & contributing their unique gifts to the world. Melanie enjoys helping/serving others, putting smiles on faces, and leaving a lasting impression. Melanie comes to us after 5 years of service with Hidden Creek CC in Reston VA. as a Clubhouse Administrative Assistant. She has an extensive background in Customer Service, Finance, Banking, Sales and Marketing. Melanie enjoys Tennis (played USTA for 5 years), hiking, biking, gardening and the beach, but spending time with her family is most cherished.
