About Keith
Keith has been the Director of Tennis at Cherry Valley Country Club for 8 years. During that time he has dramatically increased the programming and participation at Cherry Valley. He increased the USTA ladies teams from three teams to eight teams. The Round Robins when Keith began at Cherry Valley, consisted of three offerings a week with light attendance. Under Keith’s direction, they increased to eight to ten separate Round Robins offered every day, for all levels, many being filled to capacity. Court usage was at such a premium that one USTA team had to be dropped, new lights were installed on two courts, and the possibility of adding two more courts to accommodate the growth in participation, was seriously considered.Prior to coming to Cherry Valley, Keith was a very successful Head Coach of Div. III men and women’s tennis team at Principia College in Elsah, Illinois. There he earned the St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference’s Coach of the Year honors five times.
