DALLAS - The Dallas Morning News has named nine golf courses at Invited clubs in its 2015 “Top 100 Texas Courses,” “Texas’ Best 18,” and “Texas’ Most Beautiful 18” lists in its annual Texas Golf section. The rankings are determined by The Dallas Morning News’ Golf Panel made up of more than 95 golf writers, experts, players and professionals whose scores were based on a criteria that included versatility, shotmaking, design, afterthoughts, beauty, maintenance and enjoyment.

Included on the “Top 100 Courses in Texas” are:

Stonebridge Ranch Country Club (Dye Course) in McKinney – No. 35
Deerwood Country Club at The Clubs of Kingwood in Kingwood – No. 41
The Woodlands Country Club (Tournament Course) in The Woodlands, Houston – No. 43
The Hills Country Club at The Hills of Lakeway (The Hills course) in Austin – No. 45
The Woodlands Country Club (Player Course) in The Woodlands, Houston – No. 78
Stonebriar Country Club (Fazio Course) in Frisco – No. 79
The Hills Country Club at The Hills of Lakeway (Flintrock Falls course) in Austin – No. 83
Stonebriar Country Club (Country Club course) in Frisco – No. 86
Las Colinas Country Club in Irving – No. 92

Named to the “Texas’ Best 18” list are the par-3 No. 7 hole on The Hills Course at The Hills Country Club and the par-4 No. 18th hole on the Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club. Making the “Texas Most Beautiful 18” were the No. 7 par-3 and the par-4 No. 18 holes on The Hills Course at The Hills Country Club.
