SKILLMAN – Chris Carpenter, Executive Chef at Cherry Valley Country Club, in Skillman, New Jersey, has been named “2017 Invited Chef of the Year Presented by Oceania Cruises.” Cherry Valley Country Club is a member of the Invited family of clubs, which includes more than 200 golf and country clubs, business clubs, sports clubs, and alumni clubs located throughout the country.

Carpenter was chosen from more than 1,000 member nominations narrowed down to five finalists, and, finally, determined as the winner after 2,600 members of Invited clubs weighed in online.

One of the members who nominated him said, “He lives and breathes making every meal an experience and treats you like a member of the family. He has turned our club into one of the best places to go for a meal."

As Invited Chef of the Year, Carpenter receives an eight-day cruise from Monte Carlo to Barcelona, Spain, aboard Oceania Cruises’ Marina.
