About Aaron
Aaron is a proud Michigander since birth and attended Sterling Heights Stevenson High School and graduated from Baker College with a B.A. in Business. His love for this area and the club industry runs deep. He has 15+ years of experience in the golf and country club industry, as a General Manager and Membership Director. He most recently served as the Director of Membership at Oakhurst Golf & Country Club in Clarkston, MI. Prior to Oakhurst, Aaron was the General Manager at Hilltop Golf Course (Plymouth, MI) for seven years and Assistant General Manager at Sanctuary Lake Golf Course (Troy, MI).During his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife Alicia and their daughters Elena and Leighton. Besides his love for the game of golf, Aaron is also a huge Detroit sports fan.
James Folske

About James
A native of Big Rapids, MI, James was born into a sports family. Both parents hailed from Ferris State University and were voted into the coaching Hall of Fame. Post-graduation from Sacred Heart Academy in Mt. Pleasant, MI, he played baseball at Kellogg Community College. James finished his baseball career at Davenport University, where he also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
Upon graduation, James interned for the West Michigan Whitecaps before working full-time in the front office with the Detroit Lions. James' career in sports continued at William Penn University where he coached football and baseball. While coaching, James also achieved his Master’s Degree in Business Leadership.
James' diverse sports background continued when he enrolled at Harry Wendelstedt Professional Baseball Umpire School. He spent five seasons umpiring professional baseball for the MiLB. Most recently, James has been the Assistant General Manager at a lodge in Aspen, CO, and the Marketing Director for Dwyer Greens and Flowers.
In his free time, James enjoys golf, hockey, and softball. He loves any sort of competition including board, card, and yard games. He is excited to meet the TPC Michigan membership and looks forward to seeing everyone at the Club!
Amy Churchill
Director of Member Experience

About Amy
Amy Churchill was named Director of Member Experience for TPC Michigan in January 2021. In this position, her primary goal is to develop, organize and implement marketing of member events and experiences. Amy had served various roles within the sports and entertainment industry, most recently with the Detroit Tigers where she provided exceptional customer services and care, collaborating with members to create unique events and experiences.A Michigan native, Amy earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing from Central Michigan University. She currently resides in Grosse Pointe Woods. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family.
Justin McMann

About Justin
Justin McMann has been named Event Sales Director at TPC Michigan. Born and raised in Grosse Pointe, MI, Justin attended Grosse Pointe South High School and then played baseball at Adrian College. Graduating with a B.A. in Business & Communications, Justin aspired to pursue a career where he constantly could connect and build meaningful relationships with others. Upon graduation, he moved to New Hampshire, where he accepted a position with K-Motion (K-VEST), a Baseball/Golf Tech company. Justin’s passion for the game of golf originated as he traveled across the country working at trade shows and conferences, performing product demonstrations. After moving back to Michigan, he worked as an Account Representative & Marketing Media Talent in the hunting/firearm industry.
Justin’s hobbies include golf (of course), hiking, hunting, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors. He is ecstatic to be a part of the team at TPC Michigan and to begin meeting members of the club while welcoming those who are considering hosting outings & other events in the future.
Hamzah Abusalah

About Hamzah
Hamzah joined the TPC Michigan team in August 2002. He worked his way up to a sous chef while pursuing a degree in hospitality and culinary arts at Henry Ford Community College. Shortly after Invited acquired TPC Michigan in 2014, he was offered the Service Director position and gladly accepted in January 2015.

About Duane
We are pleased to announce that Duane Walkowski has joined TPC Michigan. He will serve as the Club's Executive Chef and will focus on delivering high-quality food, creating new recipes, and offering attentive service to Members and guests while directing the kitchen staff.
Chef Duane has extensive experience studying, training, and working in many aspects of the Culinary Field. He is thoroughly trained in all phases of the Culinary Arts. Most recently, Chef Duane worked at Lockmoor Country Club where he specialized in implementing menu planning, writing, and executing ala carte menus and specials. Prior to Lochmoor, he held Executive Sous Chef roles at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, Wabeek Country Club, and the Townsend Hotel.
Tim Heffelfinger

About Tim
Head Golf Professional Tim Heffelfinger is a native of Holland, Ohio and a graduate of the Golf Academy of America located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, he turned Professional in 2007. In 2014 he was elected as a class A Member of the Professional Golf Association of America. His career started in 2007 at Brandywine Country Club (Maumee, Ohio) before taking the First Assistant Golf Professional Job at Belmont Country Club (Perrysburg, Ohio) where he spent four years. In 2014 he moved to Columbus, Ohio to join The Club at Tartan Fields as the First Assistant. His most recent endeavor was at NorthStar Golf Club, where he spent the last 5+ seasons as their Head Golf Professional. In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his son, and enjoying the outdoors. Golf is his first passion, however, he is a huge Wolverines fan and has a big admiration for soccer.
Kevin Brooks

About Kevin
Kevin has been the Superintendent at TPC Michigan since September 2016. Before becoming the Superintendent, he was as the Assistant Superintendent here at TPC Michigan for 3 years. Kevin`s 26 years of experience in golf course and turf management have been spent in both the public and private sector, spending time locally at Lochmoor Country Club, Great Oaks Country Club, Wyndgate Country Club and Fieldstone Golf Club. Kevin also spent time at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where the Honda Classic is held.Kevin attended Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology while also completing his 2-year turf certified program. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys golfing, playing hockey, fishing, hunting, and relaxing with friends and family.
Kelley Henderson

About Kelley
Kelley Henderson has been with Invited since 1997, where she began as an Accounting Assistant. Kelley has held a variety of roles over the years at several Invited proprieties. Kelley transfer to TPC Michigan in October of 2016 from the Skyline Club in Southfield, Michigan. Kelley graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a Bachelor of Arts. She is a native Michigander and lives Downriver with her husband Brian and two children. Outside of work she enjoys reading, yoga, biking, watching cross country meets, going to art museums, traveling and spending time with her family. Kelley enjoys helping members and looks forward to seeing you at the club and on the course!
Greg Vanderzell

About Greg
Greg has been with Invited since 2012, starting out with the golf course maintenance crew. He then moved inside to Locker Room Supervisor, and finally to Facilities in 2015. Greg grew up and went to high school and college in upstate New York where most of his immediate family stills resides. When not trying new places to see, one can usually find him antiquing and restoring his collections.
