Mahjong 101 Thursday, October 15 5:30 pm Mahjong is having a major moment — and we're bringing it to Rivers Club members! It's one of the fastest growing social games in the country right now, and Pittsburgh is catching on fast. If you've been curious but didn't know where to start, this is your invitation. In this 2.5 hour hands-on lesson, you'll learn American Mahjong by actually playing it. We'll cover the tiles, the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card, the Charleston, and the rules of play. Then we bring it all together at the table and guide you through your first game with an instructor by your side.
