The 210-acre course in Roslyn Harbor, New York was designed by English architect and golf professional Herbert Strong. The course was remodeled in 1921 by world-renowned golf course architect Devereux Emmet and later by Frank Duane. The original architect followed the layouts of some of the most challenging holes in Scotland. Publications from the early days of the club described it as “a bag of tricks,” but the course was soon recognized as one of the finest in the country.

Pro Tips
Hit it down the left side of the fairway as it slopes from right to left. You will be left with a challenging 2nd shot. Aim at our “E” Logo behind the green as that is the best place to feed the ball into a right pin location. If the pin is on the left being on the right side of the green is not a bad place as you will be able to putt it uphill.
