MANSFIELD, TX - Walnut Creek Country Club, a member of the Invited family, announces the unveiling of a million-dollar renovation project in celebration of 40 years as a centerpiece of the Mansfield community. The project brings a stylish new décor along with new dining, social and family features designed to enhance daily life for today’s private club member.

“This renovation comes at the perfect time – allowing the club to celebrate 40 years of history while looking to the future,” said General Manager Mike Billingsley. “These improvements – geared toward family and enriched leisure time – are taking the club to a whole new level and providing more value for membership.”

The project includes:

• Reinvented family grill – features include an enhanced bar, TVs throughout, communal table with charging stations, and innovative new menu items
• New outdoor terrace with fire pit – Members can now dine al fresco under the covered patio or just relax over cocktails and appetizers while taking in the serene golf course view
• New kids’ club playroom with activities, games and toys for children ages 3 to 12
• New resort-style pool experience – four cabanas, luxury furnishings, and, just off the pool, a seven-hole miniature golf course

“Walnut Creek members have always taken pride in the club and these renovations give us so many more reasons to show off the club to family and friends,” said Miles Lowein, chairman of the club’s board of governors.

The club also is launching a variety of new activities and programming, such as the outdoor “dive-in” movies, family trivia nights, Friday Night Out (date night for two plus fun for the kids), Sunday Family Fun Day, and cookouts on the golf course.

Walnut Creek Country Club offers 36 holes of challenging golf – the Don January-designed Pecan Course and Mark Brooks-designed Oaks Course – extensive practice facilities, and golf academies for adults and junior players. Amenities also include 14 lighted tennis courts, pool, family dining in Creek’s Tavern and on the terrace, the Nines Bar & Bistro, and elegant private event space that accommodate from five to 300.
