DALLAS - Eric Affeldt, Invited president and CEO, has announced that he – along with 100 other participants – is shaving his head to raise awareness and funds during the 10^th annual St. Baldrick’s Day at Trinity Hall Irish Pub & Restaurant on March 30, 2013, at 10 a.m.

During St. Baldrick’s Day, Dallas’ longest-running event of its kind, Affeldt hopes to raise $100,000 for The St. Baldrick’s Foundation and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

“For years I have been an annual donor to St. Baldrick’s and to Texas Scottish Rite but this year I am putting my money where my hair is,” said Affeldt. “I am asking for support from friends and family and hoping to get the word out to anyone who is interested in helping these two great causes.”

Affeldt also is the vision behind the Invited Charity Classic, the company’s major annual philanthropic open-house event, which raised a record-breaking $2.07 million for a variety of charities throughout the U.S. in 2012 and more than $10 million since its inception in 2007.
