One-Day Golf Challenge Raises $48,000 to Support Youth Development through Golf

DALLAS - Invited, teaming  with The First Tee of Greater Dallas, successfully completed the inaugural “Invited 100 Hole Challenge” on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, which raised funds  support of youth development and life skills lessons through golf. Teams, comprised of at least three staff members from 11 Dallas-Fort Worth-area clubs in the Invited family, braved the heat and each played 100 holes of golf, all in one day.

More than $48,000 was been raised from the 11 Invited area clubs. Gleneagles Country Club, the top fundraiser, raised $14,370, followed by Brookhaven Country Club and Stonebriar Country Club. “It has been an honor to represent Gleneagles Country Club and Invited in supporting The First Tee of Greater Dallas. Our members rallied around this incredible cause and raised impressive funds. We look forward to next year’s event,” said Chad Pinson, Head Golf Professional at Gleneagles Country Club.
